Since 4 generations ago, the Özçelik family has been working around the marble. At the beginning, the (now) great grandfather was working in the import / export marble industry. His son, in 1960, Hasim Özçelik decided to open his own marble company in Istanbul. At early age, the youngest of his sons, Necmi Özçelik, start to show a special interest around marble, so he starts to make little projects as the details of the tomb stones and later, working all summer on the marble factory. He learned and worked the marble with his father until 1985, when he decided to build “Özçelik Marble” to be a leader of the Marble Industry in Turkey.

Today, Özçelik Marble is one of the most known companies of Onyx in the sector. With more than 50 years of experience, has become a familiar business, combining design and technology, processing marble “onyx” as silk to the world.
